Total airline ticket transactions sold by U.S.-based
travel agencies increased 3.9 percent year over year in February, according to
Airlines Reporting Corp. Domestic transactions increased 2.9 percent, and
international transactions rose 5.8 percent. Total fares sold declined 1.5
percent year over year to $5.9 billion, and airline fees declined 14.6 percent
to $561.5 million.
