The International Association of Conference Centers named as CEO industry veteran Mark Cooper,

effective Oct. 8. Cooper has 25 years of industry experience, including positions with Dolce Hotels & Resorts, Sundial Group and Warwick Conferences, according to IACC. Cooper will succeed longtime executive vice president Tom Bolman, set to retire at year-end, as the association's top staff executive. After Bolman earlier this year announced his impending retirement, an IACC task force recommended the association appoint a CEO "to grow the membership base around the world," according to IACC.
