CWT Meetings & Events named as senior director for its Asia/Pacific region Steven Smith,

a former managing director at global conference management firm IQPC. Smith reports to Floyd Widener, who in June became CWT Meetings & Events global senior vice president when the Carlson Wagonlit Travel division reorganized globally. Widener in a press statement said the Asia/Pacific region is "looking particularly strong" in terms of 2013 meetings demand.
