CWT Meetings & Events appointed executives to two newly created global positions.

The meetings management arm of travel management company Carlson Wagonlit Travel named as senior director of global operations former Travelport executive Patrick Lukan and as director of global supplier management for hotels and meetings and events Pauline Houston, who previously headed CWT Meetings and Events in the United Kingdom and Ireland. According to the company, CWT M&E under Lukan will "provide clients with detailed international reporting that gives a global, organization-wide view of their meetings and events spend." Houston "will drive greater alignment in the approach to suppliers for both business travel and meetings and events clients," according to the company.
