US Airways became the first airline to accept MasterCard PayPass contactless cards and devices for inflight payment,
according to the companies. Officials said the move would speed transaction times as passengers tap a card or other payment-enabled device to a reader enabled by GuestLogix rather than handing their card to a flight attendant to swipe.
