Southwest Appoints New VP Strategy & Innovation

Southwest Airlines appointed former JCPenney executive Tom Nealon as executive vice president of strategy and innovation, effective January. Nealon, who will report to president and CEO Gary Kelly, joins after nearly 10 years in leadership roles related to IT, strategy and digital ventures at the clothing retailer. He also served on Southwest’s board of directors from 2010 until his recent resignation.
