U.S. travel agency air transactions processed through ARC in November decreased 2.1 percent year over year,
the tenth consecutive month of declining volume. Total agency sales, which have not declined in any month since late 2009, increased by 6.4 percent, marking the largest year-over-year growth since March. The discrepancy specifically for domestic U.S. air tickets continued to widen as transactions fell 4.4 percent while total sales rose 5.3 percent. For international tickets, both transactions and total sales increased, by 4.4 percent and 1.7 percent, respectively.
