United Kingdom-based travel management company TD Travel and hotel booking agency Hotelscene relaunched as Corporate Travel International following their July 2013 merger.
CTI is led by former TD Travel CEO Ian White, while the chief innovation officer is Chris Needham, a former CEO of Hotelscene who joined TD Travel in 2012. CTI indicated it will launch in February 2014 an internally developed online booking solution called CTI Sherpa. Hotelscene was a pioneer in online hotel booking technology not based on global distribution systems.
