Travelport reported a 2 percent rise in total global distribution system segments for the first three months of the year from the prior-year period.
GDS transactions from non-U.S. points of sale rose 4 percent to 55 million, while U.S. segments held steady at 42 million. The company posted a $27 million net loss for the three months ending March 31, compared with a $10 million loss for the same period last year. Adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization rose $10 million year over year to $151 million, and net revenues rose 4 percent to $572 million.
