Travelport announced that Rearden Commerce signed a deal to use its Universal API for a single connection to the Apollo, Galileo and Worldspan global distribution systems.

According to Travelport, Rearden has three separate connections. Unifying them "will provide us with greater operational efficiencies and the ability to redeploy valuable IT resources to other areas of the business," according to Rearden vice president of product management Todd Kaiser. "In the future, it will also enable access to Air Canada's full range of content, including Tango fares and merchandizing services."
