Travelport and Aeromexico announced a "global full-content agreement," including a "framework" for selling ancillary services.
The "multiyear deal" provides to users of Travelport's Apollo, Galileo and Worldspan global distribution systems access to "all" the carrier's fares and inventory, and positions the GDS operator to offer "merchandising services" related to Aeromexico's optional products and services. Aeromexico also will use a Travelport advertising tool "which enables carriers to place flights in a separate area above the neutral display on the travel agent's availability results screen for optimum visibility," according to the companies.
