Sabre-connected agencies now can book and prepay any associated fees for traveler's preferred seats on Finnair flights.

According to a Sabre Travel Network blog posting on Thursday, agents can reserve and purchase specific seats on the airline "within their standard workflow and booking process in their Sabre Red Workspace." Sabre noted that Finnair is using the Sabre Air Extras merchandizing solution and the Airline Tariff Publishing Co.'s OC industry standard for prepaid seat bookings. Sabre in December 2012 announced that connected agencies could pay Finnair baggage fees when booking fares.
