U.K travel management company Portman Travel announced a new corporate responsibility strategy to help clients manage business travel's environmental impact.

The initiative includes emissions data reporting in partnership with carbon management software provider ManageCO2 and assistance with carbon-offset programs facilitated by ClimateCare. Portman also will monitor "its own performance in areas such as electricity and gas consumption, recycling and waste management as well as offsetting the travel impact of its own management team."
