Hayne Joins AmexGBT

Philip Haxne has left Sony Mobile to join American Express Global Business Travel as global business consulting director. His appointment comes a month before Caroline Strachan leaves her position as Amex GBT vice president for global consulting to join consultancy Festive Road. As senior manager for global meeting, travel and collaboration at Sweden-based Sony Mobile, Haxne was an enthusiastic practitioner of collaboration management, the integration of travel with virtual conferencing. He also has managed travel at Ikea and spent nine years at Carlson Wagonlit Travel.
