American Express Business Travel Canada launched a pre-trip auditor tool allowing companies to review business travel prior to ticketing
. It includes approvals based on "air, hotel, total trip cost, form of payment, preferred vendor, security risk" and other factors. The system launched for U.S. customers in 2007.
