Amadeus signed a global distribution deal with U.K.-based budget hotel chain Travelodge.

The chain's 490 properties in the United Kingdom, Ireland and Spain now are available through Amadeus e-Travel Management, the Hotels Plus booking tool and third-party sites using Amadeus Web Services. Travelodge also signed up for Amadeus' best available rate guarantee. The hotel company during the next eight years plans to more than double its portfolio of properties.
