Amadeus through a partnership with T&E tech firm Conferma is offering a payment tool to handle direct hotel billing

for travel management companies. Conferma at the time of booking will create and send a "virtual credit card" to the hotel via Amadeus, which the hotel will charge back to the agency when the traveler checks out. Agents do not have to contact the hotel directly to make payment arrangements. Sabre also recently partnered with Conferma on a similar hotel payment system relying on virtual cards.
