Amadeus on Thursday launched a partner network in North America for "independent travel technology vendors and service providers" interested in serving Amadeus-connected travel agencies.

Amadeus North America president and CEO Scott Gutz described the network as "essentially a roadmap for our travel agency customers to find trusted technology providers." The company claimed to have already signed up 25 IT providers, including Booking Builder Technologies. Amadeus said it expects to activate the network in other regions "later this year" and invite travel agencies to explore the partner network's directory "in the coming weeks."
