through which the high-speed rail operator's services will be available for sale via travel agencies and the Amadeus e-Travel Management corporate booking tool. Initially for bookings in Germany, the deal provides access to "the full range of Thalys' fares, including corporate negotiated fares, schedules and availability to effectively compare Thalys high-speed rail services with flights on specific routes," according to Amadeus. Thalys operates between Paris, Brussels and destinations in Germany and the Netherlands. Amadeus for 2012 reported a
decline in non-air bookings that, according to a spokesperson, was "partly driven by disintermediation reducing rail bookings."
