AirAsia and Travelport signed a distribution agreement that gives GDS subscribers access to 'all' of the airline's 'fares and ancillary services,'
including checked bags, advanced seat assignments and inflight meals. Entering the channel "for the first time," AirAsia is the "largest low-cost carrier in Asia," according to the announcement, with a network spanning 87 destinations.
