The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration said it formally signed with the European Union an agreement to collaborate on research to create a "seamless air traffic service to aircraft flying between the United States and Europe."
Signed in Budapest, the agreement calls for both sides to research interoperability methods under NextGen and its European counterpart, the Single European Sky ATM Research program.
