The International Air Transport Association implemented a Billing and Settlement Plan in Russia

, facilitating airline ticket invoicing and payment for 37 airlines and 400 travel agency locations, IATA said. The association partnered with VTB Bank, which serves as "the official clearing bank for BSP Russia." IATA said that its 81 BSPs around the globe in 2007 processed 458 million transactions accounting for $220 billion.
