The Coalition for Fair Access to Reservations in Europe (C-FARE) recommended a "sunset clause" for the European Union's global distribution system regulations
, "when the market conditions are right." Such conditions would include the elimination of the existing partial airline ownership of Amadeus. Absent such a change, "C-FARE's members support a 'reasonable reform' that could scrap all but four of the 50-some individual rules."
