Rearden Commerce appointed Mark Biestman as president of global field operations, "responsible for expanding the sales organization

to drive the company's long-term growth strategy," according to a statement. A Rearden official added that Biestman "owns revenue and all field operations for the B2B side of the house. This includes sales and customer services for the three business units (Rearden Commerce, ExpenseWire and Global Ground)." Biestman's career has included sales and marketing positions at Netscape, Commerce One, IBM, Metaphor, Enquisite, Seven Networks and Real Clear Technologies.
