Air France-KLM reported net income of €290 million for the three months ending 30 September
, compared with a €147 million loss for the same period last year. The airline group attributed an 18 percent jump in passenger revenue to a "recovery in demand." Passenger traffic grew 0.6 percent during the quarter while capacity fell by 0.5 percent. For long-haul routes, Air France-KLM reported that "both unit revenue and traffic rose more strongly in premium than in economy class."
