Alaska Airlines had the best on-time performance among North American carriers in March, the third consecutive month, according to FlightStats. The weighted average rose from 78.9 percent in February to 82 percent in March, and for the second consecutive month, Southwest was the only one of the four major airlines to perform below average this month.
