The Association of Corporate Travel Executives announced on Monday evening that it
will hold its spring Global Educational Conference at the Marriott Marquis Times
Square in Manhattan April 10-12, 2011.
ACTE also has signed an agreement with
U.K.-based Business Travel Market for the association to be the exclusive
provider of educational content for the Business Travel Market's conference,
which next will be held June 15 and 16 in London, and for BTM to take over and
transform ACTE's TransACTE tradeshow component sometime next year.
ACTE executive director Ron DiLeo in a prepared
statement said, "This agreement will now extend the quality of ACTE
programs to a greater audience in the United Kingdom, while putting the power
of the BTM team behind the TransACTE concept."
BTM anticipates next year to host 500 buyers,
as well as 3,000 other buyers and suppliers at its London event.
