Group transportation booking platform BusBank
has acquired fellow booking platform Buster and plans to incorporate its
"state-of-the-art booking and transportation management technology,"
according to the company. BusBank reports a footprint of 135 metro areas and a
three-step booking process for group vehicle bookings: entering an inventory,
selecting a bus type and reserving. Buster,
meanwhile, has built up a network of buses, limousines, vans and other vehicle
service suppliers and has used those suppliers' pricing data to create market
prices in their areas of service.
