Delta ranked first in on-time performance among North
American carriers in November based on flights arriving within 15 minutes of their
scheduled arrival times, according to FlightStats. Delta barely edged out
Spirit, which made a surprise trip to the top of the list in October. Though
Spirit came in second last month, the airline increased its on-time performance
from 87.8 percent in October to 90.5 percent in November. Alaska notably came
in eighth among the 12 major North American carriers, a significant drop from
its higher rankings in previous months.
