The total dollar value of airline tickets sold by U.S.-based
travel agencies increased 5.4 percent year over year in November to $6.8
billion, according to Airlines Reporting Corp. The average U.S. round-trip
ticket price was $484 for the month, down 0.5 percent. The number of U.S
domestic passenger trips increased 0.9 percent, and international trips rose 8.7
percent.
