Delta Air Lines' systemwide operational shutdown
in August cost the carrier an estimated $100 million in revenue, Delta
reported. The
incident, caused by a power outage in Atlanta, resulted in 2,300 canceled
flights over three days. Delta reported an August mainline completion factor of
98 percent, down 1.8 percentage points from a year prior.
