AccorHotels experienced a €145 million revenue
bump during the third quarter as a direct result of its FRHI acquisition. The
deal, which closed July 12, also added 116 hotels and 43,195 rooms to its
development portfolio in the quarter. Worldwide occupancy at Accor properties decreased
0.4 percentage points year over year to 71.7 percent. France and Belgium
continued to prove difficult for Accor after terror attacks that spanned the
past year. Average daily rate increased 1.7 percent year over year on a
constant dollar basis to €91. Total revenue increased 1.8 percent to €1.54
billion.
