Chrome River and travel organizer technology firm Traxo have teamed up to deliver “universal automated hotel folio integration,” according to the companies. After users send their hotel bills to their Chrome River expense accounts, Traxo’s hotel e-folio parsing technology creates separate expense line items for room charges, taxes, parking, meals and room service and other charges and users drag and drop the categorized expenses to populate the report. The companies claim the tool can read any English-language receipt and most foreign language receipts. The technology does not require a direct supplier connection.
