Continental, Galileo Sign Five-Year Content Deal

Cendant-owned Galileo and Continental Airlines today announced a five-year full-content agreement, giving the global distribution system access to all of the carrier's published fares and inventory.

In conjunction with the announcement, Continental also entered into a five-year "strategic partnership" with consumer booking engine and Cendant subsidiary CheapTickets, which, along with affiliates, "will provide Continental's full range of product, services and inventory to their customers."

This is the third GDS deal this year signed by Continental, following similar arrangements with Sabre and Worldspan. Galileo this year also has entered into new partnerships with Delta Air Lines, United Airlines and US Airways.
