The IPO will raise funds to expand Azul's network by offering an unspecified number of preferred shares both in the United States and Brazil. The carrier, founded in 2008 by JetBlue Airways founder David Neeleman, is Brazil's third-largest, with
service to 103 destinations and 864 daily departures. Azul this month also is beginning nonstop service between São Paulo and Orlando and Fort Lauderdale.
