American Airlines has no plans to change the content it provides through Apollo and Worldspan,
an airline spokesperson stated in response to the disclosure of the Oct. 31 expiration of the airline's agreement with Travelport. The tech firm on Tuesday notified agencies in North America of the coming deadline and noted that AA's "full-content" commitment (along with related content access fees charged to agencies) would expire along with the agreement, The Beat reported. But AA subsequently stated that it has "no plans to change the terms and conditions under which American makes its content available to travel agencies using" Apollo and Worldspan. Travelport is pushing for at least a short-term extension of their deal. "We do not anticipate any disruption as we work with Travelport toward a new agreement," AA stated.
