AccorHotels has appointed Kevin Frid COO for North and Central America. Frid comes to Accor from FRHI Hotels & Resorts—parent to the Raffles, Fairmont and Swissôtel brands—where he most recently served as president of the Americas. His is one of the first senior management appointments made by Accor since it finalized its acquisition of FRHI on July 12. Frid stepped out publicly in his new role this week at the Global Business Travel Association Convention to speak about the impact of industry consolidation.
