Travel managers can designate transaction limits for users and specify usable merchants. The solution initially is available only to AirPlus clients in Belgium, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands and Switzerland, with other markets to follow. Mobile AIDA is available as a free application download for iOS 5 phones or higher, said an AirPlus spokesperson. AirPlus announced
the pilot program in April. Last week AirPlus also announced a
mobile wallet pilot using near-field communications with Deutsche Telekom in Germany.
