The registered traveler program last month opened at San Francisco International, and also is operational at Denver and Orlando international airports. The program enables members to "bypass long lines and go straight to screening" for $179 per year. The original iteration of Clear, operated by Verified Identity Pass, became the nation's largest registered traveler program before abruptly
ceasing all operations in June 2009. Eighteen months later, new owner Alclear
restarted the program.
