Best Western International plans to develop 66 hotels in India within the next five years,
tripling its presence in the country from the
34 hotels currently open or under construction. The company said 60 percent of the
newly announced properties would be four- or five-star hotels, under the Best
Western Plus or Best Western Premier identifiers. Best Western plans each year
to open 10 to 15 properties in primary, secondary and tertiary cities,
particularly manufacturing and trading cities, according to the company.
