The U.S. point-of-sale air transaction slide continued to accelerate in November as total transactions decreased 19.7 percent year-over-year, according to ARC data released today. Domestic transactions fell 20.4 percent and international transactions dropped 17.7 percent during the month, ARC said.
In what many expected to be a softer month compared with the same period in previous years due to the anticipated reduction in Thanksgiving-related travel, November also experienced late November's Mumbai terror attacks, which further slowed some international travel bookings
