Travelocity Business updated its Hotel Rate Assure tool to audit negotiated rate availability each time travelers shop, not just when they book hotels. The feature, developed in collaboration with TBiz client WellPoint, examines GDS results for all hotels offered and creates a data point if the preferred corporate rate is not available. TBiz then will analyze those results—a travel program with 800 hotels will generate about 20,000 data points monthly, according to TBiz—and create an audit report.
