The Institute of Travel & Meetings made available to members a new crisis management "hub."
It will provide service disruption updates from suppliers and a means for members to share information and program management strategies. Conceived in the aftermath of the 2010 volcanic ash cloud crisis in Europe and designed by the U.K. and Irish association in conjunction with Advantage Business Travel Centres as part of the ITM Phoenix project, the hub this week launched in a beta version.
