National Car Rental Names New EMEA Corp. Sales Head

National Car Rental today announced that it has appointed a veteran of several aspects of the car rental industry to lead its corporate sales team in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Colin O'Keefe is joining the car rental brand as its director of international accounts for corporate sales in the EMEA region. He will work with travel management companies serving the region and manage several international corporate accounts with significant cross-border travel, according to National. In addition, he will help cultivate relationships with international airlines that have a large corporate share.

"We have some terrific opportunities to grow our business working in partnership with a number of business travel management companies and business airlines, providing international corporates with a range of quality vehicle rental services that support employees traveling abroad and fulfill duty of care responsibilities," O'Keefe said in a statement.

Prior to joining National, O'Keefe worked six years for Sabre Travel Network as director of car distribution and development in the EMEA region. He also has worked for Europcar and Budget Rent A Car as well as General Motors Corp. subsidiaries Vauxhall and Opel.
