NBTA Names Nominees For President, Vice President

The National Business Travel Association today announced the nominees for its board of director positions, including president and vice president, which will be voted on at the August NBTA Convention in San Diego.
Hilton Hotels director of global travel management Craig Banikowski is the lone nominee for president and CEO. Banikowski is the current president of the Los Angeles Business Travel Association.
The vice presidential nominee is Monsanto travel manager Jim McMullan. McMullan is currently the president of the NBTA Chapter Presidents' Council and chairman of the St. Louis Business Travel Association. HSBC vice president of travel services Michael Lyons has served as vice president since July 2007.
Both president and CEO and vice president serve two-year terms beginning at the close of the August convention. Current president and CEO and University of Texas travel buyer Kevin Maguire will remain on the board.
All NBTA direct members are eligible to vote for the officer positions.
Six travel buyers are running for three direct member-at-large board seats. They are California statewide travel manager Donna Carey, Thomson Reuters director of travel services Sharon Fogarty, BDO Seidman national director of procurement and travel Cindy Gillen, Hewlett-Packard travel strategist Jeff Kurn, MillerCoors strategic sourcing manager Pamela McTeer and Atmel corporate travel manager Mark Ziegler.
Eleven allied members have been nominated for one allied director at large position. Only allied members are eligible to vote for this position.
