The average daily rate at InterContinental Hotels Group properties during the fourth quarter of 2012 increased by 2.5 percent year over year. ADR was up 3.8 percent in the Americas and 1.4 percent in Greater China but was nearly flat in Europe and in Africa, the Middle East and Asia. Occupancy was up by just under a percentage point globally and across all regions except Greater China. Group operating profit for the quarter was $161 million, up from $137 million in the fourth quarter of 2011.
