JetBlue Airways nearly tripled its fourth-quarter net income to $23 million as passenger revenue soared 24 percent and the average passenger fare rose 11 percent to $155.60. The company's full-year 2011 net income slid to $86 million from $97 million a year earlier. JetBlue in 2012 is planning to grow more quickly than most major U.S. carriers with a projected first-quarter capacity increase as much as 11.5 percent and for the full year as much as 7.5 percent.
