Radius appointed as chairman Michael Hare, CEO of founding member agency Portman Travel, replacing Bill Tech. According to Radius, Hare is its first chairman from outside the United States. He also is the immediate past chairman of the U.K.'s Guild of Travel Management Companies. Tech had served as Radius chairman since 2001 and will remain on the organization's board. According to his prepared statement, "stepping down will enable me to focus more of my energies on the successful integration of Travel and Transport's recent major acquisition of Ultramar Travel Management."
