Egencia Extends Preferred Hotel Benefits To European Clients

Travel management company Egencia has extended its Preferred Hotel Programme of rate discounts and other benefits to its clients in Europe.
Available to North American customers since 2003 and in Asia, the program includes "close to" 4,000 of the 85,000 hotels that can be booked online through Egencia. Other negotiated benefits include same-day cancellations, early checkin and complimentary Internet access, breakfast and parking.
Egencia said customers that typically use the Preferred Hotel Programme do not have their own negotiated rates, but it can show the special deals alongside negotiated rates on the customer's desktop if required.
Egencia also is adding TripAdvisor hotel reviews to its European online offering for the first time.
